1. Introduction
CampaignBoss is an independent workflow product for Amazon Creator Connections users. It helps users research products, organize campaigns and Projects, review messages, track proof and due dates, and manage related daily work. This policy applies when you use CampaignBoss websites, accounts, extension features, or support channels.
CampaignBoss is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. Your Amazon account and Amazon session remain subject to Amazon’s terms and privacy practices.
2. Information CampaignBoss collects or processes
Depending on the features you use, CampaignBoss may collect or process:
- Account and authentication information, including your email address, CampaignBoss user and workspace identifiers, email-verification state, account setup state, and session tokens.
- Creator profile information, including profile details, Creator Connections or storefront URLs, marketplace context, and information you provide or verify.
- Campaign and workflow information, including campaign and brand details, products and ASINs, project stages, route choices, statuses, due dates, proof links, task state, earnings-related fields, and saved preferences.
- Product research information, including product titles, images, categories, prices, availability, ratings, review counts, sales-rank and product-enrichment fields, filters, saved columns, and research decisions.
- Messages and communications, including brand names, message-thread identifiers, message content, timestamps, drafts, templates, reply or follow-up state, and queued-action status.
- Storefront and content information, including storefront identifiers, video or content URLs, titles, product relationships, proof status, and supported performance or matching fields.
- Billing and plan information, including selected plan, billing cycle, subscription status, Stripe customer, checkout, and subscription identifiers, and payment status.
- Technical and support information, including browser or extension state, job and sync progress, diagnostic events, timestamps, server request data, errors, support requests, and privacy-request correspondence.
3. How information is collected
CampaignBoss receives information when you create or use an account, enter or verify profile details, configure preferences or automation, contact support, start a supported sync or action, use the CampaignBoss interface on an Amazon page, or use the authenticated web workspace.
The extension also reads supported page content and Amazon request or response data available in the Amazon session already active in your browser. Backend services generate operational, security, and reliability records when requests and jobs run.
4. How CampaignBoss uses information
CampaignBoss uses information to authenticate users, isolate and operate workspaces, provide product research and campaign workflows, sync and organize supported Amazon data, show messages and tasks, route work into Projects, manage proof and due dates, provide configured automation, process billing, deliver service email, respond to support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.
CampaignBoss does not post, send messages, submit proof, or route products on your behalf by default. If you choose or enable a supported automation, CampaignBoss may queue or perform the configured action according to the controls and review settings you selected; a separate click may not be required for every enabled automated action.
5. Chrome extension and Amazon page data
The CampaignBoss extension runs on supported Amazon marketplace, Associates, and Creator Connections pages and on CampaignBoss account pages. Its permissions allow it to display the CampaignBoss interface, inspect supported page content, observe or replay supported Amazon requests, open or monitor user-started worker tabs, download supported exports, and connect synced information to your CampaignBoss workspace.
This processing can include Amazon page URLs and content, campaign and collaboration results, product and ASIN records, storefront and video results, message-thread context, export links, and action results. CampaignBoss does not ask for or store your Amazon password. Amazon-connected features depend on the Amazon session in your browser, and CampaignBoss is not intended to collect unrelated browsing history.
6. Messages and personal communications
CampaignBoss may process message threads and personal communications shown in supported Creator Connections workflows so you can review conversations, use templates, prepare replies, track follow-ups, and queue supported actions. This can include the sender or brand, participants, message text, timestamps, thread identifiers, drafts, and delivery or queue status.
Message data is used for the CampaignBoss communication workflow and related support, security, and reliability purposes. It is not used for personalized advertising.
7. Billing information
Stripe is CampaignBoss's billing and checkout provider. Stripe processes payment-card details. CampaignBoss may receive and store your selected plan, billing cycle, payment or subscription status, and Stripe customer, checkout-session, invoice, and subscription identifiers needed to confirm and administer access. CampaignBoss does not store full payment-card numbers in its application database.
8. Local browser and extension storage
CampaignBoss uses Chrome extension storage, website local storage, and session storage for authentication sessions, preferences, selected columns and widths, UI state, sync cursors, job progress, cooldowns, safe resume and recovery state, and temporary Amazon workflow context. Some of this information stays on the device; other information is sent to CampaignBoss services when needed for a feature you use.
You can clear local website data or remove the extension to remove local copies. Doing so does not delete cloud account or workspace records.
9. Service providers and data sharing
CampaignBoss does not sell user data. It transfers information only as needed to provide or improve disclosed features, operate and secure the service, comply with law, or protect against fraud and abuse. Current provider and platform categories include:
- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and related backend functions.
- Railway for CampaignBoss backend hosting and processing.
- Vercel for CampaignBoss website hosting and delivery.
- Stripe for checkout, subscription billing, and payment processing.
- Resend, when enabled, for onboarding and service email delivery, and Google Workspace for CampaignBoss business and support email.
- Keepa for product-data enrichment using product identifiers such as ASINs.
- Amazon as the connected Creator Connections, Associates, product, messaging, and content platform on which supported workflows run.
- Google Chrome and browser storage APIs used to operate the extension and retain local state.
CampaignBoss may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction where legally permitted and subject to required notice or consent.
10. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
CampaignBoss's use and transfer of information received through the Chrome extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
CampaignBoss uses extension data only to provide or improve the disclosed CampaignBoss user-facing functionality and related maintenance, reliability, security, and support. CampaignBoss does not sell user data, does not use it for personalized advertising, and does not transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
Transfers are limited to those needed to provide or improve the disclosed features, comply with applicable law, protect against fraud or abuse, or complete a business transaction with any consent required by the Chrome Web Store policy.
11. Human access to user data
CampaignBoss does not permit personnel to read extension user data except when you give explicit consent for support involving specific data, access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, access is required by law, or the data has been appropriately aggregated and anonymized for internal operations. Access to account or workspace records is limited to authorized personnel and providers who need it for those permitted purposes.
12. Data security
CampaignBoss uses HTTPS for network transmission, authenticated sessions, tenant and workspace access controls, guarded backend routes, provider-managed secret storage, and package controls intended to keep private service credentials out of browser code and extension releases. Access tokens and other authentication information should never be sent to CampaignBoss support.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or CampaignBoss data is at risk, use the security-report instructions on the Support page.
13. Data retention
CampaignBoss retains account and workspace information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve support or billing matters, maintain security and reliability, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Operational logs, security records, and backups can follow separate provider or system retention cycles.
After an approved deletion, limited records may remain where needed for billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, disputes, logging, or backup expiration. CampaignBoss does not promise immediate deletion from every backup.
14. User access, correction, and deletion choices
You can update supported profile and preference fields in CampaignBoss, choose which supported syncs or workflows to run, and configure or disable available automation controls. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account or workspace information, email support@thecampaignboss.com from the email associated with your account when possible.

15. Children's privacy
CampaignBoss is a business workflow product and is not directed to children under 13. CampaignBoss does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so the request can be reviewed.
16. Changes to this policy
CampaignBoss may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate product, website, or email notice when required.
